AMBER MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK
Amber Mountain National Park is a lush and pristine nature reserve nestled in the north of Madagascar. There are dense rainforests, cascading waterfalls and volcanic lakes in the park, which is renowned for its unique ecosystems. It has a well-kept trail system that leads to stunning vantage points and the chance to see rare animals like lemurs, chameleons and a bunch of bright birds.
ANKARANA NATIONAL PARK
Ankarana National Park is a captivating natural wonder renowned for its unique limestone formations known as tsingy. There are a lot of lemurs, chameleons and rare plant species in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Adventure enthusiasts can also explore the park’s network of trails.
NOSY BE
There is an enchanting island off the northwest coast of Madagascar. Its pristine beaches, turquoise waters and vibrant coral reefs make it an open invitation for exploration and activities like snorkelling and diving. Nosy Be is often billed as the 'Ile aux Parfums,' and is a centre for the production of perfume essence from the ylang-ylang tree. Sugar cane, coffee, vanilla, pepper, saffron and other spices can be found on the markets.
ITINERARY DAY BY DAY
DAY 1: ANTANANARIVO
Landing at Ivato airport in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar. Welcome or ‘tonga soa’! Our driver will bring you to your hotel near the airport to relax. Along the road and near the hotel, you can enjoy the vast views of the characteristic rice paddies of the high plateau right away! Your journey already begins!

DAY 2 : ANTANANARIVO - DIEGO SUAREZ
You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Diego Suarez, where you will be collected at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.
DAY 3: DIEGO SUAREZ AND THE 3 BAY
After breakfast, we will travel with our 4WD driving across the city. We will stop at the panorama view of Nosy Lonjo where you can step into one of the most famous places of Madagascar. After the view point, we continue our journey by reaching the three bays, sakalava, pigeon, and dune bays through Ramena.
The Sugar Loaf and its history will be admired on the way. We will enjoy and take some memorable pictures of the endemic biggest baobab of this region. We will enjoy the beaches and marvelous bays at Dune Bay, walking to the pigeon bay, swimming and relaxing some times after the baobab.
After lunch, you can relax by the beach and swim at the amazing beach of Ramena. After your relaxation and swimming, we head back slowly to the ship. On the way, we will visit the baobab forest, Adansonia suareziensis, which is endemic to the Antsiranana region. After we drive back to the Hotel.

DAY 4: DIEGO SUAREZ – AMBER MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK
We then drive directly to Montagne d’Ambre National Park, which covers 18,200 ha of a prominent volcanic massif and offers striking scenery, rainforest and waterfalls. It is one of Madagascar’s most visited natural attractions. We arrive in the late afternoon. The next day is spent exploring the park on foot. In the park, you will have the chance to see seven species of lemurs, the ring-tailed mongoose and a variety of reptiles including frogs, geckos and chameleons, as well as more than 70 species of birds.
DAY 5: AMBER MOUNTAIN – ANKARANA NATIONAL PARK
Today, we head to Ankarana, a nature reserve with sacred caves, underground rivers and beautiful scenery. Lemurs and interesting bird species are included in the rich and diverse flora and fauna. Hidden forest-filled canyons and numerous subterranean rivers run through and under the limestone pinnacles. There are several fascinating bat-filled grottoes in the extensive cave system that we'll explore.

DAY 6: ANKARANA NATIONAL PARK
The Ankarana National Park is located 110 km from the city of Diégo Suarez, and is worth exploring on this day. The 18-hectare park is home to the gray Tsingy, also known as the Ankarana Tsingy. It is a collection of limestone geological formations located in the heart of rivers, canyons and rainforest. In order to contemplate this mineral and plant beauty, you will take a hike in nature. Dinner and a night at the hotel are planned for the evening.
DAY 7: ANKARANA NATIONAL PARK- ANKIFY- NOSY BE
Today, we drive to Ankify, a small village situated along a white-sand beach. You will be transferred by car to your hotel from here after a boat transfer to Nosy Be. The island of perfumes, Nosy Be, is the largest of Madagascar's offshore islands and is covered in palm trees and bougainvillea. You can easily spend the entire day watching the changing hues of blue in the sea and sky at Nosy Be. The island's assets include luxuriant foliage, friendly people, and a relaxed Indian Ocean ambience, in addition to its attractive beaches.
DAY 8 & 9: NOSY BE
This two-day stay in Nosy Be is for leisure. You can choose from the following optional activities. The Lokobe Reserve is a rainforest reserve that protects Nosy Be's endemic vegetation. It's possible to spot lemurs, frogs, and chameleons. A day cruise to the islands "Nosy Komba" - the island of lemurs - or "Nosy Tanikely" - an underwater reserve - is a great option. You might see surgeonfish, clownfish, barracuda, manta rays, sea urchins, starfish, eels, anemones, and many more. At the end of the afternoon, we will return to the hotel where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the amenities on offer.
DAY 10: NOSY BE- FLIGHT BACK
You will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to your country today. We hope to welcome you back to Madagascar very soon.

Upon your arrival in Antananarivo on the first day of the "TREK IN MADAGASCAR", you will be greeted at the airport and taken on a tour.
If you arrive before the first day, you can arrange for a hotel room for the tour. You will be picked up from your hotel on the morning of the first day. The time will be decided upon your arrival.
The transport will depend on the group size for the "TREK IN MADAGASCAR" tour, based on the size of the group.

A 4x4 vehicle is provided for the day trip to Andringitra and Tsaranoro.
A visa is required to enter Madagascar and can be easily obtained upon arrival at Antananarivo airport, with a validity of up to 60 days. Tourists planning to stay for less than a month can obtain a visa for a sum of 115,000 Ariary (approximately 35 €). It is advisable to pay with the exact amount or small change. No photograph is required; however, it is imperative that passports are valid for at least 6 months after the return date.
