We provide everything you need for autonomy, from camping equipment to cooking utensils, except for sleeping bags. Your driver guide will be delighted to help you prepare delicious meals in the evening around the fire, whether along the island's southern beaches, mountainous highlands, or eastern tropical forests.
Rental with driver from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. For safety reasons, our vehicles do not operate at night, except in exceptional circumstances. Third-party liability insurance, unlimited mileage, and 20% VAT are included.
Meals and accommodations are included in the rental price.
Round-trip fuel costs are the responsibility of the client.
All vehicles must be returned to their starting point. Empty returns are billed according to the following schedule:
Fianarantsoa (1 day), Tulear (2 days), Tamatave (1 day), Morondava (2 days), Fort Dauphin (3 days), Diego Suarez (2 days), Majunga (2 days), Soanieranivongo (2 days).
In case of a breakdown, TRIBU NOMADY commits to providing a replacement vehicle within 24 to 72 hours, depending on the vehicle's location. Lost rental days will be reimbursed.
Booking is mandatory with a 30% deposit paid by bank transfer or in cash.
The total rental amount must be paid before departure, in cash in Euros or Ariary on the same day.

Opting for a self-drive car rental is an excellent alternative to enhance the joy of traveling. It is a choice that promotes freedom of movement during your stay on the island. With your own vehicle, you will be the master of your journey and your pace.
Note that without a driver, it will be possible to avoid predefined circuits. This allows you to fully enjoy the landscape by visiting all the surrounding sites.
Behind the wheel of your vehicle, you can reach the various accommodations (if desired) that we have reserved for you throughout your trip. You can spend as much time as you wish at each stop and organize your meals as you prefer.
This option is particularly appealing when traveling in a group of 3 or 4, as the car rental and fuel costs are shared among the participants.
Do not forget to include these expenses, along with fuel, in the overall budget for your trip.
This option requires some travel experience as you will be completely autonomous.
Your vehicle will be delivered free of charge to the airport upon your arrival.
The driver must meet the following conditions:
- Be at least 21 years old,
- Hold a valid driver's license (category B) for at least two years,
- Provide a valid driver's license, identity card, or passport and submit a photocopy to the lessor on the day of rental,
- Ensure that the driver's license has not been suspended, revoked, annulled, or subjected to any insurance nullity for any type of vehicle in the past two years.
The security deposit is €2000, payable by check or cash (in euros or ariary). This deposit is refunded to the client upon the vehicle's return and cannot be used for an extension without prior agreement from the lessor.
